Getting started is easy
All I need to get started is a creative brief, or even a simple outline, detailed notes, etc. If you don't have an outline or brief, just give me a call to discuss what you have in mind. For editing projects, all I need is a Word doc with the content you want edited.

Meetings
For most projects, in-person meetings are not necessary. However, if you have a large, complicated project or a series of projects and you prefer a face-to-face meeting, I am available to meet at your San Francisco Bay area location at no charge for the first working meeting (no "interviews" for individual projects, please). Additional meetings and travel time will be billed at my regular hourly rate.

Fees
I'm happy to quote project fees for well-defined projects, or an hourly or day rate for open-ended projects, longer engagements with multiple deliverables, etc. If you have a deep backlog of work, you might want to consider hiring me on a retainer basis, which gives you priority scheduling and a guaranteed number of hours per month.
