The
Process
Working with
me is easy and convenient. Here’s how the process typically
works:
1. Contact
/ Project assessment – When you make initial
contact, we'll discuss what you need and when you need it. I’ll
ask about your business and industry, your products and services,
and your customers and competitors. I'll also ask for any creative
briefs, outlines, rough drafts, and other relevant information.
2. Agreement
– I'll provide a written agreement describing the terms of
our working relationship, deliverables, timetables, fees, and payment
schedule. I quote project-based fees for well-defined projects,
or per-hour rates for open-ended contract engagements.
3. Work
– I’ll create clear, compelling messaging according
to your direction and raw materials and deliver a review draft according
to the agreed timetable.
4. Review
– When I deliver the work, I'll ask that all involved
parties on your end review it. I will ask you to indicate any necessary
revisions in writing on a single copy or in a single Word doc and
return it to me within a specified time frame (usually one week).
This is the basis for the final draft.
5. Final
draft – After making any necessary revisions and
edits, I'll deliver the final draft of your project. If you need
to make any minor adjustments to the copy at this point, I will
be glad to provide a polish at no extra charge.
I’m happy
to discuss any aspect of my work. Please contact
me with any questions about the process.
